Queens' v. Clare/Fitz, Sunday 1st October at 1.15pm at Coldhams'

Next friendly is this SUNDAY, meeting at 1.15pm on Coldham's common, against a Clare team who should be an easier prospect that the Churchill team we drew with last week.

Queens' 2 Churchill 2

Not a great start to the season, but at least we managed to claw back ourselves back from 2 goals down with 20mins left to play! Itzam and Gabriel got the goals, though we didn't play good football throughout the game and churchill with only 10 men managed to hold on defensively most of the game after going ahead with a set piece goal early on.
At least we still have a couple more weekends to work on organisation, technique and movement before the season starts properly on the 14th October!

Queens’ MCR Football team 2006/2007

Want to represent your college? Want to play football? Want to be able to pick and choose when you want to play football? Want to play against players of your own age and not these fast whippersnapper undergraduates?
Queens’ College MCR team is for you!!
We play games on Saturday mornings or afternoons during term time in the MCR league against other college teams. Our home ground is at Queens’ College Sports Ground (which is just down the road from Owlstone Croft) and all away games are nearby.

Training sessions are Wednesdays at 6pm at Queens’ College sports ground (or on Parker’s piece) starting from the 4rd October and the league season starts from 14th October.
